How much does it cost to rent The Ellery?
- Pricing at The Ellery ranges from $4,500 to $10,500 depending on the season and day of the week you book. We believe in transparent, published pricing — no hidden fees or per-person upsells. Visit our Investment page for the full breakdown by season.
Is The Ellery a BYOB wedding venue?
- Yes. The Ellery has a BYOB (bring your own beverage) bar policy — you can bring your own beer, wine, and spirits rather than paying per-drink or per-person bar fees. A licensed bartender from our preferred vendor list handles service and guides you on quantities, so you get full control over what you serve at a better value.
Do we have to use in-house vendors?
- No. The Ellery does not require exclusive or in-house vendors. You're free to bring in any caterer, bartender, florist, DJ, or planner who fits your style and budget. We offer an optional Preferred Vendor List of local professionals who know our space well, but using it is entirely up to you.
How many guests can The Ellery hold?

Is The Ellery a historic venue?

Does The Ellery have an outdoor ceremony option?
- Yes, The Ellery offers an outdoor ceremony option in addition to our indoor ballroom space. Schedule a tour to learn more about ceremony and reception options.
What's included in a venue rental?
- Rentals include a 12-hour rental window, full access to the venue, an event manager, all tables and chairs, a sound system, two getting-ready suites (including a bridal dressing room), a large built-in bar, climate control, ample paved parking, and separate vendor load-in access.
Is The Ellery an all-inclusive wedding venue?
- The Ellery is best described as a flexible-inclusive venue: core essentials (tables, chairs, sound system, event manager, getting-ready suites) are included in your rental, while catering, bar service, and other vendors are entirely your choice — nothing is bundled or required.
Does The Ellery have a getting-ready suite for the wedding party?
- Yes — The Ellery includes two getting-ready suites, including a dedicated bridal dressing room, so both sides of the wedding party can prepare on-site.
What if it rains — is there an indoor backup for outdoor ceremonies?
